Meet Jack
-
Jack Richardson is a third-generation, life long Falmouth resident. His family ran the Elm Arch Inn in the heart of downtown Falmouth for almost a century. Growing up in Falmouth Jack spent time all over town, hiking with the family dog in Crane Wildlife area, swimming at Old Silver Beach, and playing soccer in Falmouth Heights. As a teenager, he worked at local ice cream shops and restaurants and began refereeing youth soccer games, something he continues to do today. Jack loves the community that raised him and will fight to not only preserve the environment he enjoyed so much as a child but also the strong working class that makes the Upper Cape great.

Jack’s upbringing has formed his commitment to fighting for working class values. His father is a landscaper and former Innkeeper and his mother an Army National Guard employee on Joint Base Cape Cod.
The son of a M.O.S.E.S and N.A.G.E employee, Jack is committed to strengthening our Unions to fight against income inequality and ensure good fair wages for all trades.
After graduating from Falmouth Public Schools, Jack attended American University in Washington D.C . As a recipient of federal work study aid, Jack worked as a barista on campus before and in between classes. His junior and senior year he worked full time on Capitol Hill as well as supporting campaigns back home. Jack is committed to lowering the cost of higher education.
On his first day as a staffer on Beacon Hill, Jack signed the IBEW 222 union card. Everyone deserves the right to organize.

Jack helped double the Falmouth Cultural Council’s funding so they could continue their program called ‘Music at the Table’ where they partner with local churches to provide free music and meals to those in need.
During college, Jack worked on Capitol Hill for Democratic Senator’s campaigns from around the country, learning from seasoned experts on the issues facing every day Americans.
Jack worked on Beacon Hill for State Senator Dylan Fernandes as his district director, working with towns and interest groups, making sure their voices were heard in Boston. Jack was the point person for over $36 million dollars in earmarks for various towns, non profits and projects across the South Shore and Upper Cape.
